BAMFORD INSTITUTE BOWLING CLUB

Sessions are held on Monday and Tuesday evenings 7 pm until approx 10 pm and also Tuesday afternoons 2 pm to 4 pm from the end of September until the end of March.  We play matches against a number of clubs in the area, both at home and away. There are a number of bowls available for use on club nights until members feel they wish to purchase their own.  This is preferable if attending away matches.  We also have club competitions, usually mixed doubles and ladies and gents singles.  Two party nights are held each year – one at Christmas and one at the end of the season where all members come together for an evening of fun.

We pay an annual subscription to the Institute, at present £14. and at each session the cost is £1. plus 25p for tea or coffee and biscuits.
