BAMFORD SHEEP DOG
TRIALS ASSOCIATION
The Association was formed
in 1943 and is a registered charity. Various local organisations receive a donation
each year.
The Trials are held on the
Bamford with Thornhill Recreation Ground every Spring Bank Holiday Monday (last Monday in May) from approximately 7.30am
to 6pm.
This historic event is always
a brilliant day and offers a great atmosphere for all the family. As well as
the amazing feats of the sheepdogs, trained down the centuries through the skills of our farmers, there is a children’s
play area, side stalls and good food and drink to make the day.
For those who are feeling
energetic enough, there is a 4.5 mile fell race at 1pm. So why not join us for
a fun family day out?
The Committee and Members would like to thank everyone who
attended and all who helped at the Trials this year.

The ANNUAL DINNER will be held at
the Bamford Golf Club on Friday, 20th November 2009.
