BAMFORD SHEEPDOG TRIALS - Bamford with Thornhill Recreation Ground - Come and enjoy a day filled with fun and excitement - £4 adults - concessions - under 16 free

Saturday, 29th

St John's Church - SUMMER FAIR - 2.00pm to 4.00pm - Tombola, raffles, cakes,plants, 'good as new', face painting and much more

Bamford Village Games

12noon to 3.00pm - Bamford with Thornhill Recreation Ground

Come and join in the fun    FREE entry!

There will be a range of sports to try

 and activities to join in, including:

  • Traditional Village Sports
  • Family Rounder's
  • Tug of war
  • Archery with Edale YHA
  • Canoeing with Edale YHA
  • Family Bike Ride with Peak District National Park Rangers (Own bike and helmet required)
  • Orienteering and Explorer challenge
  • Children's play area
  • Refreshments available throughout the day

Come help clean up St John's Parish Church and grounds - come any time between 9.30am and 12.30pm.  Just turn up (for however long you can spare) bring appropriate tools

Thursday, 13th

Bamford WI - St John's Eye Hospital - speaker Dr Tony Bethel - 7.30pm Moore Memorial Hall

Sunday, 16th

Methodist & Anglican Churches - MESSY CHURCH - 9.30am to 11.00am - Moore Memorial Hall - Adults and children welcome

Thursday, 20th

Bamford Old Folk's Fund - Trip to Stratford upon Avon - at least 60 (ladies) 65 (gents) - haven't put your name down yet!  Get in touch with Barry Leedham 651737 - not to be missed!!
