Bamford Climate Action is a group of people in the village taking action on the climate emergency. We are one of the villages working together as Hope Valley Climate Action.
Our aim is to reduce carbon in Bamford and in the Hope Valley, and beyond by:
• Practical projects like our “tree for every person” in the village.
• Educating and awareness raising by events like Bamford Eco-fair (sadly postponed by lockdown) and articles in the Bamford News.
• Working together with special interest groups throughout the Hope Valley on issues like better public transport, renewable energy supply, better care of our natural resources, cutting down on waste.
